This East Village diner and restaurant serves some of the most authentic Polish- American food in the city. Polish specialties like borscht, pierogies, kielbasa and stuffed cabbage share the menu with diner fare like hamburgers, sandwiches, omelets, blintzes, potato pancakes and salads. If you like drink, you'll have a drink the best Polish beer. Everything is very inexpensive. The Polish waitresses and waiters here are friendly.
Ours interior design is simple and sunny, with wooden tables and chairs and a lovely, spacious garden out back in good weather. There is also a long counter for those dining alone.
